Description
Summary:
The Account Executive will be a key driver of business growth,
responsible for the full sales cycle of creative event and experiential marketing
solutions. This includes galas, fundraising events, branded environments,
corporate events, product launches, and other custom experiences. The ideal
candidate is an exceptional relationship builder, and a creative consultant who can
translate a client's marketing objectives into compelling, high-impact live
experiences.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
o Proactively prospect and qualify new business opportunities with
brands across various industries.
o Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding assigned sales
quotas and targets.
o Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate regional
markets and client accounts.
Client Relationship Management:
o Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to
ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
o Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their
brand, marketing goals, and vision for their events.
Creative Solution Selling:
o Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Creative, Production,
Project Management) to develop customized, innovative, and visually
compelling event proposals and presentations.
o Present, negotiate, and close complex contracts, articulating the
creative and financial value of the proposed solution.
Project Oversight & Budgeting:
o Collaborate with Producers on project budgets, scopes, and
timelines, ensuring solutions are delivered on-time, within budget,
and to the client's creative specifications.
o Liaise between the client and the creative/production teams
throughout the project lifecycle.
Market & Industry Expertise:
o Stay current with event industry trends, emerging technologies,
and competitor activities (e.g., experiential activations,
virtual/hybrid events, sustainable event design).
o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade
shows to network and generate leads
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven track record of 3+ years in B2B sales, preferably within
the event, trade show, experiential marketing, or creative agency industries.
Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in finding new business and
managing the entire sales cycle, from cold lead to contract close.
Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop
unique solutions that solve a client's marketing challenges.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication,
presentation, and negotiation skills.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce),
Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and presentation tools.
Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, site inspections, and on-site
event management.
