The Role: The
Senior Food and Beverage Manager oversees all food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Miraval which may include restaurants, lounges, coffee bars, and banquet facilities.
- Supports and Leads the Food and Beverage Department while working closely with the Resort Manager and other hotel departments. Leadership responsibilities also include Event Set Up as well as Outlet and Banquet Beverage.
- Supervise, Empower, Lead, Coach, Organize and Motivate the overall F&B team, including assistant manager(s), supervisors, food servers, baristas, set up attendants, bartenders towards achieving exceptional guest service results and complete colleague engagement
- Ability to assist the hotel in reaching top box service scores on our Guest and Meeting Planner surveys. Ensure thorough communication and understanding with guests and other departments by reviewing VIP Guest requests, FAM & Hotel tours, Events and Outlet Orders.
- Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all functions and meetings while maintaining standards of food and beverage and meeting specifications
- Responsible for proactively reviewing staffing and equipment needs
- Responsible for ensuring coordination and execution of meal periods and events with Culinary and Sales/Events.
- Responsible for process in place to close all events checks on a daily basis
- Responsible for maintaining a high-energy, positive, professional appearance
- Responsible for developing innovative and creative décor for Outlets and Events function space
- Establishes the highest standards of quality service and ensures its implementation through effective hiring, onboarding, training development, promotion, and continuous reinforcement
- Administrative tasks may include the facilitation of payroll, reports, forecasts, point of sale procedures, inventory, and budget for all food and beverage functions
- Performing daily walk-throughs in the food & beverage outlets, all function space, and storerooms to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
- Ability to develop ideas for special events
The Senior Food and Beverage Manager is an integral part of the hotel's overall Food and Beverage team. Your colleagues will work with Resort Manager, Executive Chef, and Sales/Events Managers to ensure a successful Food and Beverage Team.

Qualifications Qualifications: Duty Expectations: 1. Responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the hotel outlet operations in the front and back of the house
2. Skilled in managing priorities, balancing involvement and support of the operation while maintaining deadlines and strategic goals.
3. Organization of the overall operation and strategic priorities, developing a plan to delegate priorities to F&B leaders and resort partners.
4. Passion for excellence, setting a standard among colleagues and implementation of tools to train on how to achieve results.
5. Develop and recommend the budget, concepts and objectives and manage within those approved plans
6. Implement and maintain food & beverage sales/marketing programs
7. Direct, support, and oversee development of colleagues
8. Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews
9. Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for outlet operations
10. Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
11. Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
12. Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
13. Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
14. Maintain Miraval standards of service and ensure their implementation
15. Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
16. Maintain communications with Corporate Office
17. Coach and counsel colleagues to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
