Company Overview

Wee Burn Country Club was established in 1896. The club consists of approximately 770 families. The main clubhouse, which was reconstructed in 2002, features a traditional grill room, informal and formal dining rooms, private dining rooms, patio dining and a ballroom.
Athletic facilities include a championship Devereaux Emmet designed eighteen-hole golf course that has recently undergone an extensive restoration by the Fazio Group, eight Har-Tru tennis courts, six platform tennis courts, a trap and skeet shooting range and four bowling alleys.
The club also owns and operates a seasonal Beach Club on Long Island Sound, with twelve acres of beachfront property. The Beach Club features both formal and informal dining, and is available for a limited number of private events prior to, and at the conclusion of, the summer season. Athletic facilities consist of five Har-Tru tennis courts and Pro Shop, an Olympic style swimming pool and diving well and children’s activities pavilion.
Total annual gross operating revenues are over $10 million, with Food and Beverage revenues accounting for $3 million. The club is open six days per week, twelve months a year, and is open seven days per week in the summer season.
