Tidewater Community College is located in America’s First Region—historic Hampton Roads, a metropolitan region of 1.6 million residents—TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce development services in the region, enrolling some 40,000 credit students annually and employing more than 2,300 full- and part-time faculty and staff. The nation's thirty-fifth largest community college, TCC is among the fifty fastest-growing large two-year institutions in the United States. With four fully comprehensive campuses and regional centers for the visual arts, performing arts, advanced technology, and automotive technology, TCC offers more than 150 academic programs, including a full complement of college transfer and career & technical education, workforce training and development, and general community enrichment and outreach.
